Viewers of popular BBC1 magazine programme, The One Show<\/em>, have been voting for their most loved BBC shows of all time — and Doctor Who<\/em> has done exceptionally well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yep, Doctor Who<\/em> is in second place, just behind Only Fools and Horses<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s beaten strong competition from the likes of Strictly Come Dancing<\/em>, Blue Peter<\/em>, and Planet Earth<\/em>. Sherlock<\/em>, created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, is also in the Top 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The list ties into the BBC’s centenary celebrations; later on this year, there will be a Doctor Who<\/em> special (Jodie Whittaker’s swansong, featuring the Thirteenth Doctor’s regeneration) tying into the institution’s 100th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s been an absolutely huge response from our lovely viewers and though we couldn\u2019t fit everything onto the list, our viewers have shown so much love for these classic shows that have connected with them across generations.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
