Yep, this is the first time Christopher Eccleston&#8217;s been directly involved in a mulit-Doctor storyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, it&#8217;s not specified that Tennant is playing the Tenth Doctor either, so might be actually be the Meta-Crisis Doctor or, even more intriguingly (but unlikely, given license issues), the Fourteenth Doctor?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s the rather cool synopsis: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>The Time War. The Doctor has been injured and brought to a Time Lord field hospital. His body glows with energy, but this is no regeneration into a future form \u2013 instead, the Doctor\u2019s past faces begin to appear as he flits haphazardly between incarnations\u2026\u00a0<\/p><p>Staggering to his TARDIS, the Doctor sets out to solve the mystery of his \u2018degeneration\u2019. Who has done this to him? How? And why? From the Earth to the stars, across an array of familiar times and places, he follows clues to retrace his steps, encountering old friends and enemies along the way. It\u2019s a huge<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><em>Doctor Who<\/em>\u00a0party and a massive celebration that has been years in the making.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The series will be released monthly, with the first seven parts&nbsp;materialising&nbsp;between May and October 2023, and a final coda in November 2024.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Doctor Who<\/em>\u00a0fans worldwide can now pre-order the bundle of all eight audio adventures on\u00a0special edition\u00a0CD (accompanied by downloadable versions too) for just \u00a375, or digital (download only) for just \u00a362, exclusively from Big Finish. The CD bundle is strictly limited to just 3,000 pressings and includes numbered CDs, special bonus artworks, and additional audio content, including music suites and extended behind-the-scenes interviews.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All eight stories can also be pre-ordered as separate single releases on standard collector\u2019s edition CD (and download) for \u00a310.99 each, or digital (i.e. download) for \u00a38.99 each. A standard bundle pre-order is available for \u00a372 (CD and download) or \u00a360 (download only). The standard edition does not include the extras contained in the special edition, but does include behind-the-scenes features.
