Samantha Bond will return as Mrs\u00a0Wormwood \u2013 leader of the Bane \u2013 for the first time in 15 years, as part of Rani Takes on the World<\/em>: The Revenge of Wormwood<\/em>, a boxset spin-off from The Sarah Jane Adventures<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Revenge of Wormwood<\/em>, to be released in December 2023, will be the second volume in the Rani Takes on the World<\/em> audio series from Big Finish, and stars Anjli\u00a0Mohindra as Rani Chandra, and Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Samantha Bond said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGetting back into character was\u00a0really rather\u00a0easy. I hadn\u2019t forgotten\u00a0her\u00a0and she hadn\u2019t forgotten me \u2013 it’s been a lovely experience. I don\u2019t get to play baddies very often and the audio scripts are captivating.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Anjli\u00a0Mohindra\u00a0added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
